Dr. Sam Saker

President of Consultants of Hospitality Administrators CHA International

Dr. Saker's field related education, complements his Thirty three years of responsible and progressive experience in the Hospitality Industry including 20 years in the United States of America, fourteen years of which as a General Manager with Holiday Corporation, Forte Hotels International and most recent with Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites. In 1998, as the president and partner, Dr. Saker established (and responsible for) the continued development and growth of CHA International ?Consultants of Hospitality Administrators? Company, through his alert base of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation while serving the Hotel and Hospitality Industry Worldwide.

Being   President, and Partner of CHA-International, Dr. Saker has expanded to from Egypt's Offices to the Dubai Media City office, UAE in 2002. In 2004 the USA, California office was launched, Then the Stuttgart Germany and Maldives offices in March 2006. The Doha, Qatar office was announced in December 2006. in 2007 the Berlin office was launched, followed by Shanghai, China, Seattle Washington, Cancun, Mexico, Ontario Canada and Las Vegas Nevada. The annual Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Travel Awards event is just another prove of Dr. Saker's commitment to Hospitality Industry and passion for its cause. Organized by Dr. Saker the Oscar like event is held every May at Al; Bustan Rotana in Dubai along side with the Arab Travel Market trade show (ATM)

As a Certified Hotel Administrator by Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association, Dr. Saker is an individual who is notorious ?to make a true difference?.  Dr. Saker received his B.Sc. in Administration / Accounting from Egypt, and achieved his MBA degree courses, focusing on International Marketing, from U.S.I.U. "United States International University", in San Diego.   In addition, over the years, he received an extensive amount of industry related educational courses and programs as well as Certifications from various industry and management institutes, including Cornell University, Holiday Inn University, Dale Carnegie, UCLA, AH&MA-EI, and California Restaurant Association. In June of 2002 he attained, with honour, his Ph.D in Hotel Management from Parkwood University (division of USIU).

Sahar Rashed

Sahar Rashed born in Egypt & studied at both Cairo & London during here education years, followed by over 32 years of progressive Hospitality career path.

Through hard work, dedication, commitment and passion for the industry; she has successfully earned her reputable accolades in the Hotel Arena within the Sales & Marketing division at the Middle East and North Africa region.

The majority of her expertize years were flourished within the Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Egypt, where she worked her way up the ladder from the reservation department at the regional office and up to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing; overlooking 10 Hotels & Resorts; up until 2009.

For the following 3 years and through May 2012, Sahar was assigned to the post of Senior Executive in Charge of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (the Heliopolis & the Towers properties).

While an executive team member for 22 years, she has gained a great deal of wealth and knowledge of the hotel management attributes, hence, her skills were extensively enriched over the years.

In addition to her educational courses and programs as well as Certifications from various industry and management institutes; including Cornell University, American University and INSEAD-Senior Management Program at Fontainebleau; she has ascended the Six Sigma and the TQM (Total Quality Management) practices.

Her industry Achievements and awards are many; some of which are: “Best Sales team award” - “Best Director of Sales & Marketing” over 50 properties in Africa, ME & Indian Ocean divisions – and twice she has achieved “President Award” within the worldwide Organization of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Joined CHA International Family, with aspiration for the new challenging venture, while closely working with many of her friends and industry colleagues to assist progressing of some’ s career opportunities; while helping others in locating the match for their available vacancies.

Sam is a true Global Hotelier with a successful General Manager history in Five continents, and 40 Years of operations experience including 14 Openings in 10 Countries (as a GM and or VP); in countries such as UK, Germany, USA, Canada, Mexico, Saint Maarten /Dutch Caribbean, Egypt, UAE, Qatar and the latest was in Mongolia where he opened the Country’s First 5 Star Resort Hotel and Spa Terelj Hotel (Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World). He Worked close with China while bringing to Mongolia the new 5 Star Brand of a Major USA Chain via the Offices in Beijing and Ulaanbaatar Mongolia.

His various International Hotel chains exposures includes (THF) Trust House Forte in London at their Flagship [Grosvenor House Hotel and The CP Hotels in Canada the Royal York as well as the Algonquin Hotel (Now Part of the Fairmont Group). His expertise as Senior Consultant includes Operations, Developments, and Training as well as start ups and of new constructions for various standards especially the 4 and 5 Star operations and the deluxe standards. Sam is also a Hospitality and Business lecturer and a Fellow with the British Institute of Hospitality.

Sam’s progressive Career ranked through the Major Division of the Hotels / Resorts operations; including the heading of Rooms Division, F&B Division, Sales and Marketing and Hotel Finance Division. Such early exposures gave him a deep hand on experience as well as a full understanding of all the duties, responsibilities which helped him in the development of his World Career.

Born Egyptian and now with USA and Canadian Citizenships, Sam speaks Arabic, English, French, Spanish, German and currently studying Mongolian and Chinese. As a CHA International team member, he will always deliver to Both clients and Candidates a true professional assistance.
